Formerly the faculty bass teacher at the University of Maine @ Augusta and Maine Jazz Camp, Chris has over 15 years of experience teaching private students, master classes and ensembles.
Bass lessons (upright and electric) focus on developing a good sound, building strong technique with the bow, learning and internalizing music, and using the piano to develop a better understanding of harmony.
Chris also teaches composition and orchestration. All ages welcome, from beginning to advanced students.
